Our Kentucky Woods® cake is the original, one and only, Bourbon Barrel Cake™.
Our original Kentucky Woods® cake is a moist brown sugar cake with ribbons of chocolate cake, made withwith pure maple topped with walnuts, chocolate and caramel bourbon icing. We use seven year aged Kentucky bourbon to give a very unique, nutty and maple flavor. After baking what is left of the bourbon in the cake is the flavor essence which is the richest form of bourbon. The alcohol bakes out. All the flavor without the alcohol is our secret!
Made in small batches each Kentucky Woods™ cake is steeped in our Kentucky heritage. Anyone of any age can buy and eat a Kentucky Woods® cake.
